The Detroit Sessions

"It's All About the Music"

We are all told, “live your life to the fullest”; I am here to do just that. The Detroit Sessions serves as a vessel to project my passions, and clue in my loyal readers as to what inspires me in this crazy world. So, sit back, relax, and read on. The website is in it's infancy and I plan to create inspiring articles, features, podcasts and original content as time goes by. There's already links to the other parts of "The Jackson 3" being me, Tyrone (aka DJ Quick Mix) a successful broadcaster in Detroit and George an extremely successful artist on stage and screen. There's links to some other amazing creators and a forum where you can subscribe, post and give much needed feedback on what you want the website to be so it matches all of our aspirations.

Remember "Rome wasn't built in a day!" and neither is Detroit. Keep popping by to check in on us, even if just to say "Hi". Much Love and keep "Putting Your Hands Up for Detroit"

How It Got Started

What is it that fuels each and every one of us in this world? For me, it is The Detroit Sessions. Since I started as performer/creator in my own right, and more recently blogging and podcasting, I have found such a sense of fulfilment in my life. Never more so when a 50 year search to find my US connections finally came to fruition. Not only did we have commonality through family, in particular our father Willie C Jackson a Detroit native, but one common denominator was our love of Music. Me as a DJ/Mix Technician, my twin brother as an accomplished performer on stage as well as screen and our older brother a successful broadcaster and public official. I enjoy writing about my passions, what interests me, what interests other people, and sharing it with the world. I also enjoy creating music in it's various guises, mixing and blending playlists and re-mixed tracks with a certain flare and creativity. With each passing day, The Detroit Sessions gains more followers, and with that, even more success.
